VERY DIFFICULT BOOK TO FIND WITH ORIGINAL DUST JACKET - ITS ACTUALLY EASIER TO FIND HER MID 1930s DODD MEAD 1STS IN ORIGINAL DUST JACKET THAN IT IS TO FIND THIS BOOK IN AN ORIGINAL DUST JACKET. SHOP AND COMPARE - A GROSSET & DUNLAP REPRINT COPY OF THIS BOOK IS LISTED FOR SALE AT $230 - SEE EBAY 405069456174 Book has no creased page corners, no former ownership markings or used bookstore stamps inside, no foxing to pages or endpapers or outer page edges, hint of age darkening/dust soiling to outer page edges, no fading to red top stain, no wear to board edges or board corner or to spine tips, no spine darkening, no rubbing to spine lettering, no dust/handling soiling to boards & spine, no bumped board corners. Dust jacket has chip at spine tips/bottom left on front panel with related crease at top left, top on rear panel and at top right on front flap, no other chipping, tearing or creasing, wear to spine tips, slight wear to front flap crease, slight edge wear (primarily along top edge on rear panel), almost no spine fade (common with this DJ - normally the red on the spine is found completely faded and the author lettering impossible to read), hint of color wear to left/right of spine, hint of color rubbing to rear panel only, almost dust rubbing to panels, no soiling or staining. Overall a N-FINE book in GD+/VG- condition dust jacket (price clipped) of rare WWII era Agatha Christie 1st printing book with original dust jacket. Therefore, in most cases, the first time that the Post Office will show anything when you check the delivery confirmation number is when the package hits your local post office/sorting center (basically the day before its delivered to you). Occasionally (about 25% of the time) a package will get scanned at the Federal Way, WA transfer station, but in the vast majority of the cases the delivery confirmation won't show anything until basically the day before you get the package. Book grades are provided in the posting, however book grading standards/categories very widely from seller to seller, so please do not rely solely on the grade that I have given a book or ebay's provided "condition" box description, without considering the specific condition/defects described for that particular book. I do, on occasion, miss a significant defect in an item or simply make a cut/paste error in the description (i.e. an error in the description from using a prior posting as the "shell" for this book's description), and for collectible items, if that happens, on a case-by-case basis I do issue a full refund (including the cost of return shipping) depending upon the collectible significance of the undisclosed defect.
