Description
This is a really heavy cast iron doorstop, a black Bulldog, similar to dog doorstops made in the 1910s-1920s. could be from that era, no date on it though. Single owner UGA Bulldogs fan reducing his Dawgs collectibles. Measures 8 1/2" long and 6" tall x 4" at widest part (across shoulders/head) one ear flopped other up. Remarkably condition for this antique piece, which was kept rust-free. There a couple small dings, and the owner put felt circles on each foot to keep them from scratching floor/table etc. No maker's markings on this piece that I identify. This is the best of several dog statues (another smaller cast iron one, a couple made of wood, a sleeping iron bulldog on a book, etc.; all also listed). see pix for details and weight. The heavy weight demands it be sent by UPS or FEDEX ground, and shipping is high bec. of the weight. I pack REALLY well to protect this; I am also willing to consider a local pick up (within 10m of Tucker GA, which is northeast side of Atlanta) to save buyer ship charge. If you pay MORE than actual shipping I will reimburse you the difference upon packing/mailing. I am a private seller, ship within 1 business day only in lower 48 USA. I DO NOT TAKE RETURNS SO PLS ASK ANY QUESTIONS BEFORE PURCHASE. I SELL QUALITY- AND SEE MY RATINGS.
