Description

For sale, rare vintage cast iron statue with hand-blown rippled red glass globe home decor piece. I am not really sure what to call this piece, but it is beautiful. There is no maker mark or names on the piece. This piece can be disassembled by spinning the bottom off. The bottom is 2 pieces, and the top is 2 pieces with the globe in the middle. The globe slides off once the bottom is removed. The top cast iron piece is a girl sitting on a plant with a bird on her finger. This piece stands approx. 13.25 inches tall and is approx. 5 inches across the diameter of the globe. The cast iron pieces have a very nice rust brown patina to them, I am not sure if the patina is applied or if it is from age. When looking at the photos the last 2 show imperfections in the glass globe indicating they are old, and hand blown. When disassembled the top and bottom of the globe show the break off points from when it was made. This is a rare and vintage piece. This piece is very beautiful and would make a wonderful addition to any home. See photos for a visual description.
