Many manufacturers stopped making cast iron toys and banks during World War II, as metal was badly needed for the war effort. Some never started back up once the war was over and so the era of the cast iron toy began a sudden decline after the 1930s. This cast iron bank features the Statue of Liberty . The bank measures 2 1/4 inches across. 6 1/2 inches tall It is made of cast iron material. I n good solid condition for its age. No damages, just wear from age.
